Evenings in Charleston

After a post about the house which we're leaving, it makes sense to publish a post about the place we're going. And that place, is the city of Charleston.
In February of this year, one company invited me down there for a week. I liked the company, the company liked me, so now I'll be working there starting in the end of July.
During that week, I had the chance to shoot some time lapse footage during the evenings. I have finally assembled these pictures into a video which I would like to present to you (please watch in HD).

A typical Montreal apartment

It's no doubt that one of the architectural curiosities of Montreal are the spiral staircases on the facades. This allows tenants to have a personal entrance and to enter their apartment without having to go through a lobby. A recent poll conducted among Montrealers has shown that the citizens believe that these staircases are the most representative symbol of the city. More important than the Olympic stadium or Mount Royal!
We were lucky to have lived in such a house for the last two years. Soon, we're moving to South Carolina. So I decided to immortalize the interior and exterior of our apartment in the following pictures. Are you interested in seeing what a typical Montreal apartment looks like? Then come in! Our door is the rightmost on the first floor!

Tokyo, part two

In this post, I'll tell you about the time we visited the districts of Harajuku, Shinjuku and the Meiji temple.

Starlapse

This winter we spent several nights in a ski hut at ForĂȘt Ouareau - a park located about one hour and a half drive north from Montreal. During the night, I equipped myself with several batteries, a tripod, an intervalometer (I had to use a rubber band before I got that intervalometer) and my Olympus OM-D.

All the snow is already gone and I can finally present to you what I did with all those pictures in a small timelapse video. Enjoy!
